The problem
Every referee raises the same plastic cards.
You hold them up in front of the whole hall. The one object in the room that everyone turns to look at, and it says nothing about who is holding it.
Plastic warps in a kit bag. Print rubs off by the third season. The set you were handed on your first day is the set you are still carrying.
What if your cards spoke for you?
No two referees arrive the same way. The set you carry should say which one you are.
The DNA of a set
There is no list to choose from.
The card itself never changes: 6 × 10 cm of anodized aluminium, the same in every set. What goes on the face has no template at all. If you can draw it or describe it, we can engrave it.
A crest. A name. A club. A date that means nothing to anyone but you. It goes on the card because you asked for it, not because it was a field on a form.
Three cards, stacked. The fan you draw from, and the DNA of a set that belongs to one person. That is the mark on every Destre card.

Forged in metal, not plastic.
The engraving is cut into the surface, not printed on top of it. It will not scuff, fade or peel. The card looks the same at the end of a season as it did at the start, and the same again ten seasons later.
